DCU Bang Story Claim Preview

Event Description: The DCU Big Bang is a challenge focused on producing written works of 10k for the Traditional Bang, and 5k for the Mini-Bang, with accompanying fanworks. It’s open to any and all character or pairings that have to do with DC Comics, and we welcome Het/Slash/Femslash/Gen fic, whatever it is you write!

Summary previews of the stories that are up for claims this year are now live! Story claiming will open on Saturday, June 29th at 12 Noon MDT. Artists and fanworkers, now is the time to look over the summaries and see if there is something you would like to claim and create some artwork or an accompanying fanwork for!

Art and fanworks come in many different forms! Traditional art, digital art, manips, vids, and fanmixes (with cover art) are all accepted. Please check the DCU Bang FAQs for the quality of work that is expected for DCU Bang.

If you decide to join us, don't forget to check out the DCU Bang Rules 2019 and DCU Bang FAQs.

It is not necessary to already be signed up as an artist before claiming, but you can sign-up beforehand, if you want to receive an email when Story Claiming goes live: Artist Sign-Up, otherwise, during claiming please put the email that you want to be contacted at for the DCU Bang. This is the email that will be passed along to your author(s), so make sure it is one that you check often! It is also not necessary to claim a story if you sign-up.
