I can see that it's the same kind of phenomenon, but I'm not sure that's 100% accurate. I think an example of that would be "Arthur Dent meets John Watson, (because) both played by Martin Freeman". What I'm thinking of is like, "getting ideas for pairings/putting characters together in a fic because the actors who played them were both in this other thing".
