I love musicals! I'm not super active in fandom for them, but I like them a lot and I used to do theatre in high school/college so I've been in a few there.
As for musical TV shows, I'm a big fan of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. I also tried Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist but that one wasn't really for me.
I used to make fanvids but I don't really post them online anymore. Some songs I used that I thought fit certain shows/characters pretty well: -Storytime (Nightwish) for the Eleventh Doctor and his various companions -Brick By Boring Brick (Paramore) for Amy Pond -Runaway (P!nk) for Amy Pond -Dog Days Are Over (Florence + the Machine) for Clara Oswald -So Happy I Could Die (Lady Gaga) for Clara Oswald -Long Way Around (Dixie Chicks) for DW companions in general -Starlight (Muse) for the Voyager crew in general I stopped making them before I got into Discovery but there's a whole list of songs I think fit that and other shows that I never got to make vids for...
I sometimes try to make song parodies but usually don't get very far with them. I did, however, make a parody of "Wicked Girls" by Seanan McGuire that was about Doctor Who companions but I never posted it anywhere. I then tried to make another parody of the same song about the mirror universe but that one didn't get finished.
