Initials only used to be super common, didn't they? I remember when Harry/Draco was H/D and Kirk/Spock was K/S. These days I'd be really hesitant to do that outside of a private chat, though, too many fandoms!

Les Mis fandom used ! bang notation a lot for actor!characters, but I never watched any enough performances to get very involved in that.
