the star wars sequels are canon, sure, i'm just [shrug] about them. i liked episode 7, liked parts of episode 8, and didn't bother watching episode 9. but even with 7/8, i never really felt fannish about them? really, most of my star wars fan energy is focused on prequel-era stuff.
