Ashe/Balthier, you say? I can see that when you place it close enough to Han/Leia that I can spot similarities.

(I personally think Balthier needs Fran to keep him in line, and they've settled into not actually admitting it to each other, but they jump just a slight bit faster to help each other out than they do the other members of their party.)
