You add existing feeds just like regular journals and comms! For example, I happen to read [syndicated profile] captainawkward_feed, the tag is the same too, and I can read it on my reading page! Or I can filter it so I only read journals and comms, or only read feeds, or only read a particular group.

Making a feed is a bit trickier. First you find out what the rss or xml feed of the page is - and usually that means typing the main website and adding /rss or /xml to the end of the URL. Sometimes it means looking for the feed icon on their main page, or googling "$SITE rss" or "$SITE feed". (Sometimes they don't have a feed, and I don't know how to make one either, so don't ask.)

You copy the URL, hop over to http:/www.dreamwidth.org/syn and follow the instructions. It's pretty simple from there.
