And you can definitely do them for historical fandoms! Back in Ye Olde Days when I was a pre-teen we did the ones in magazines, I bet they had some equivalent even back in Rome. (Or you can just pretend they had the internet but everything else was the same, which is always fun for character what-ifs in history fandoms.)
