What do y'all think is most plausible, given the canon characterization of Gabriel Agreste, to be his religious beliefs? Because I can present myself equally compelling arguments for:
1) Catholic (and consequently he doesn't think kwamis are gods), and he's mostly non-practicing
2) atheist (and of course he doesn't think kwamis are gods), and to the extent he follows anything, he follows the secular Christian cultural calendar
3) Kwami-ist (because he knows kwamis are gods), but nobody knows he's outside the the atheist/agnostic range, and to the extent he follows anything, he follows the secular Christian cultural calendar
...and this is significant background detail for the 3/4 mark in my NaNovel.
(I don't think we have enough info to speculate on Émilie's religious beliefs, which I am taking as license to do as I please, and with Adrien's I am pretty sure I'm running counter to canon. But we might be able to speculate on Gabriel's, and that will matter.)
