trigger warning: abuse, intimate partner violence
I've never heard of her before, but apparently the reason she's been so sick is that her (soon-to-be-ex-)husband was tainting her food. And is now suing her for ownership of her copyrights and getting people to spread rumors about her.

Date: 2019-01-19 10:54 pm (UTC)I've read several of her books, though years ago, and I know she's a massive deal in the urban-fantasy-erotic-romance bit of romance. But it's been so long since I thought about any of her work. Wow.
I'd also heard about her nuts-sounding lawsuit against Cassandra Clare, who despite her fannish past definitely didn't plagiarise Kenyon (like, a YA trilogy about Shadowhunters and a massive series of erotic romances about adult Dark Hunter dudes and the women they meet are... not actually that similar) and so it makes sense to me that she says her nutty ex was behind that.
