On the previous recs post, jjhunter posted podfic recs, which was a great idea.

So here's a spot just to

a) share a link to your favorite podfics
b) share a link to your favorite podficcers
c) name a fic (which is either yours or has blanket permission) that you really wish someone would podfic

And then

d) go and leave feedback for your favorite podficcer, because podfic never gets enough feedback for the services it provides to fandom.

We also support fancasts here, so recommend a good fannish podcast or two while you're at it!

lady_ragnell's series The Pangalactic Interstellar Starship Musain is a delightful space romp with the Les Mis cast. I read it at least once a year. It's a big ask, though.

This is also one I listen to at least once a year. It's soft and gentle and Stiles' flailing about Derek is endearing. Also, living Hale family that looks nothing like the show's version.

**Another long rec. Your Blue-Eyed Boys written by Feather and podficced by sallysparrow017

Did you know that Steve really loves Bucky? This deals with the actual trauma inflicted by being The Winter Soldier, it's AU after that movie and barely touches on other MCU canon. Sallysparrow's performance of this story is deeply calming, even when there is discussion of terrible awful things HYDRA did and it's aftereffects. This podfic series has been with me through some rough nights, long drives, and also good times.

haheeprime's podfics of Astolat's Transformers fics are really great. (And I wish someone would podfic the rest of them, so I can just have a weeklong spree next time I need it.)

My favorite of the podfices of my works is luzula's podfic of my Dresden Files/Due South crossover One Warm Line.

My favorite podfic is probably the multi-author recording of LTLJ's Retrograde series of SGA/SG-1 stories. Several years ago I was laid up after surgery and couldn't read or watch screens, but I could listen to podfic, and that one was just really lovely.

If I were queen of the world, I would have enough money to hire pandarus to record Carpetbaggers for me.

i haven't listened to many podfics (though i have a lot on my list!) so i don't have many recs but the first podfic i ever listened to was absolutely delightful and i recommend it to everyone!

good night? bad night? by bessyboo blackglass is an original work, only about 11 and a half minutes, and dialogue only. it's hilarious and bessyboo and blackglass's voices are so fun and easy to listen to.

i also wanna rec the entire out of the auditory collection which has a bunch of podfics in nontraditional format!

I love all of bravenclawesome 's Merlin podfic. So many great Merlin/Arthur podfic of all ratings and various lengths. She adds her own music/covers and sound effects and accents!
