I'm in the "too many WIPs" boat, but a few of them:

* Dark Elf escapes horrible culture by nearly dying, then learns to love (also: what is morality, how do ethics)

* What makes noncon even worse? Your people having strict beliefs that it's impossible!

* Everyone is related, technically including the two people who would quite like to bang, and there are So. Many. Problems.

* It turns out that Dad is more upset about son's choice of partner than previously suspected. But in a really sad way.

- The life-changing magic of accidentally being turned into a cat. (This may or may not be the actual title of the story.)

- The Bad End...where everyone wins.

- That whirlwind romance you had in college? Guess what, she's actually a time-traveled future adult version of the teenager you've been fighting crime with!


...I also have a sick-fic that's not going to see the light of day for a while because it involves one of the characters almost dying of influenza-caused pneumonia. That WIP's definitely being shelved for a bit.

In the graveyard of lost WIPs:

Never depend on your kid to do what you can do better yourself.

Realistic science and wibbly wobbly timey wimey = really difficult crossover.

No one is as ruthless as a truly good person.

The protagonist is even better at disguise than anyone thought.

Bad parodies of poems.

Dissociated identities mean you have someone to discuss terrible prose with.

Let's break space and time so we don't lose each other!
