Date: 2022-07-18 06:25 pm (UTC)Okay there really isn't a good Lan Zhan analogue in XF, but imagine an AU where WWX was just that tiny bit better at both politics and self-preservation and realized that what actually killed his sister was not his fault, but a vast government conspiracy, so instead of everybody dying he and Wen Qing set out as wandering cultivators to find hard evidence they can bring to the other sects. It's basically the same show at that point!!
Especially if you have Lan Wangji popping in and out to flirt with WWX and confuse everybody about whose side he's on, he's not a *great* Krycek but in that AU he'd do.
