Fannish needs in the time of quarantine

Has anyone started a community yet pairing fans in need of expertise with fans who have that expertise? I’m just thinking that now is a good time to build those connections and make more fannish content. I'm happy to have a post (or regularly scheduled recurring posts) here do the work, or I'm happy to start a comm, or I'm happiest to find a comm that already exists and just slot myself in there. Anyone know of any comms?

***please be ENCOURAGED to offer and request things that aren't standard written fic. I'm offering awful doodles and probably-awful podfic. Let's get creative, though! • a person who is familiar with BRITISH custody hearings/the adoption process

Help with fact-checks about chemistry (including poisons for fans of crime-fics) and history (mostly things up to the late modern period)
Help with German - somewhat limited (if you are going to include a foreign language in your fic, I can help you do it properly)

• a person who is sufficiently fluent in american sign language to tell me whether phrases in a section of ASL dialogue are improbable/impossible due to ASL syntax!

My offerings:

• language-checking: fluent in russian, able to review: dialogue where russian speech is being represented in english (for realistic phrasing/syntax); dialogue where the speaker is russian and speaking english as a second language (for realistic error/difficulty); russian words/phrases (for accuracy); etc.


• slang-checking: western U.S. regional


• realism-checking: big law firms; deserts in the western U.S. (utah, the mojave)

* Living in a platonic/queerplatonic hierarchical relationship (mentor/apprentice).
* Grey-asexual.
* Hypomania ("mild" mania).
* Auditory processing disorder (undiagnosed).
* Severe Internet addiction, but I gather that's not as uncommon as it used to be?

My wish list:

* Until a month ago, I needed help envisioning how a civilization would end, but I think I've got that info now, thanks.
