Dream crossover!

For awhile now I have really wanted Machineries of Empire/Gideon the Ninth fic with Harrowheart Nonagesimus/Cheris Ajewen, with sword kink, and Jedao and Gideon providing unwanted subvocal commentary the whole time. At least as far as the first Ninth book, there's no *particular* reason their system couldn't be a Machineries backwater with a particularly morbid calendar - and if it was, Cheris would certainly wash up there for necromancy research at some point - so really it's basically canon that this happened.
I also still really want Good Omens crossed with The Bible According to Mark Twain, because his cosmology fits GO's well enough that I'm pretty sure Pratchett, at least, read it before writing GO. And Twain's Adam and Eve are darlings. You'd have to finesse the snake bit some, but Eve would totally have edited her diary if Crowley asked her nicely, so that can be worked out.

Date: 2020-03-19 09:21 pm (UTC)† Or at any rate to identify the solution, since Belle needed to fall in love with Beast and say as much in order to transform him back, and both "telling her what they need her to do and why would make it much more difficult if not impossible for her to do it" and "the curse ensures no one who isn't under it can be told how to undo it" are plausible.
